How do I get started?

Once you arrive at the Homework Help website, you simply click on the large yellow Homework Help icon shown in the right hand column. This will bring up the Homework Help instruction page. Follow the instructions and you are on your way! It's that easy!

Why do I need Homework Help?

Homework can be difficult. Although a lot of students tend to think that if the problems are hard then they don't understand, the truth is that more often than not, difficulty is a sign that you are learning. After all, if you were getting everything right and perfect, you would need to be in the next level of study, right?

So what Homework Help does is try to fill in the gap for students who might be struggling with a particular subject or concept. Also, Homework Help can assist students who need to have their work checked for correctness. (Grading Tests is a service offered by Homework Help, but that this service includes additional cost. Please contact the site administrator for more information on Test Grading).

Will Homework Help work my problems for me?

THAT'S A BIG NEGATIVE. No, Homework Help does not answer the questions for you. The responsibility to do well in your studies rests squarely with you as a student. Homework Help is here to do just what our name suggests, we HELP. That may mean discussing an answer, but we will not work your homework for you.

What do the fees include?

The fees are per semester per family. The fees provide you with access to our staff to respond to any question from any curriculum on any subject* within 24 hours.

Is Homework Help ever closed down?

Yes. We are closed all major holidays. This includes the week of Christmas and the week of Thanksgiving. If Homework Help will not be open, notification emails will be sent out to members prior to closing letting you know when Homework Help will be closed so that you have time to get your questions in before we are closed. Also, students sending emails after 8 pm on Fridays will be answered first thing the following Monday. We do not answer emails on Sunday. Keep these parameters in mind when expecting responses in 24 hours. The 24 hour guarantee does not include weekends or major holidays. If one of our staff is working with a student on a particularly difficult issue we may respond on weekends - but that response will be at the discretion of our staff member and their evaluation of particular circumstances.
