"Pre-calculus and calculus were subjects that I definitely dreaded taking in high school. However, it ended up being not only a much better experience than I imagined but a great stepping stone for future courses both in high school and college. In these classes I learned not only the fundamentals of pre-calculus and calculus, but I also developed analytical skills through problem-solving assignments that I utilize even now. Also, the curriculum is also used at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), so it prepared me for college textbook format before I ever got to UAB. Although these classes are difficult by nature, the information was presented clearly and at a speed that was easy to handle. The difficulty of the material was balanced by the methods used by the Callahans in providing assistance whenever needed. Any time I had a question, they were just an email or phone call away and didn't hesitate to work with me until I had a clear understanding of the material. (I took advantage of this almost every week if I remember correctly!) These classes were a positive experience for me, and I would not hesitate to recommend the Callahans to anyone who asked."
